Sahara Cafe
Nice cafe in downtown OC. The service was quick and we did not have to wait for a table. I would imagine during peak season, there would be a wait. The food was quick to come out. The downside - fairly expensive. Breakfast for 3 ppl was $63. I ordered sausage gravy- which came over one biscuit and hash browns, $15. Drinks are just shy of $4 each. A side of scrapple (my fav) was $5 and you only get one piece! You can buy a whole package of scrapple for that price. Not sure if we would come back, it’s just too expensive for what you get and there are cheaper places nearby.

Was in OCMD for the weekend. Stayed at the Sahara and of course we ate at the Cafe as well.
JR was our server both days we ate breakfast there. He was awesome. Very attentive. And a very nice young man. Spoke with an accent.
Good coffee. The pb chip pancake was delicious. Food came out fast
We were very pleased.
Will definitely eat there again.

Sahara Cafe
Classic diner experience just steps away from the boardwalk. We had a great time at this diner. The staff were friendly and prompt, the atmosphere was what you would expect from a small diner, and the food was exactly what we came for. I usually get the scrapple when trying a new diner… you never know what you are going to get. This isn’t the best scrapple I’ve had, but for an area that isn’t all in on scrapple, I’d say it was pretty good. Everything else was exactly what we were looking for.
